Sublimation is a print production technique using a medium such a paper. A design will be applied to printing paper via a printing machine as an initial stage which will then proceed to the press process, where later the printing or transfer paper will be pressed onto the surface of the fabric at a certain temperature so that the design will move to the surface of the fabric through a sublimation process.

Apa Itu Printing Fabric Sublime?
Printing Fabric Sublime adalah proses cetak digital yang menggunakan tinta sublimasi khusus dan kertas transfer (sublimation paper). Melalui proses pemanasan suhu tinggi (sekitar 200°C), tinta akan berubah menjadi gas dan meresap langsung ke dalam serat kain.
Metode cetak digital modern yang mentransfer desain dari kertas khusus (transfer paper) ke permukaan kain menggunakan tinta sublimasi, panas, dan tekanan tinggi. Tinta pada kertas transfer berubah menjadi gas (menyublim) dan meresap langsung ke dalam pori-pori kain, membuat hasil cetak menyatu dengan bahan, bukan sekadar menempel di permukaan.
Berbeda dengan sablon yang berada di atas permukaan kain, hasil sublimasi menyatu dengan kain. Metode ini sangat efektif untuk bahan kain sintetis atau poliester (seperti Dri-fit, Satin, Voal, dan Kanvas Poliester).
